The Corn Exchange
The Corn Exchange is a historically Landmarked Building which passed through many owners before falling into disrepair, finally suffering a major fire which saw the majority of the building demolished by the city. Led by Artimus Development, The building has now been restored to its original glory. CO-Office led design for the offices, lobby, gym, restaurant and cafe spaces across 36,000 SF, and over 7 floors. CO-Office took inspiration from the building’s Queen Anne and Romanesque Revival architecture in selecting a rich palette of natural wood, stone, and metals to compliment the existing raw concrete and steel of the building’s structure. Together, the materials evoke the building’s unique eclecticism combine with a modern, rich sensibility.
